Magnetic Wave Energy
Researchers at Oregon State University have developed a new form of wave energy.
The system uses a permanent neodymium-iron-born magnet which is forced through an
electric coil by wave action. The linear generation buoy is attached to the sea floor and electricity is run by cable back to the shore.
