Suncone Solar Collector is 90% efficient
Solar collectors are fast becoming the technology of choice for large scale integrated systems. Suncone has developed a prototype solar collector that is cone shaped using aluminized nylon with a transparent film covering the leading face. Supported by air pressure the system has a collection efficiency of 90% at 1100˚.
